I’m a former Google DeepMind Scholar 😎🎓 and a teaching staff member at the University of Khartoum, with experience in health data science. My research focuses on developing uncertainty-aware AI models for public health. I'm also interested in the theoratical foundations of machine learning.

2025TIGER Excellence Scholarship: Awarded the esteemed, merit-based scholarship for M2 in AI at Aix-Marseille University, France.
2024Google DeepMind Scholarship: Awarded the prestigious Google DeepMind Scholarship to pursue MSc in AI for Science at University of Cape Town, South Africa.
2024Mastercard Scholarship: Awarded a fully funded scholarship for Master’s in Data Science at AIMS Cameroon. Declined the offer in favor of the Google DeepMind scholarship.
2023Teaching Staff Syndicate Member: Elected to the University of Khartoum Teaching Staff Syndicate.
2017National Award for Best Computer Science Undergraduate Thesis: Awarded by the Sudanese Association for the Poromotion of Scientific Innovation.
2016Second Place – Mastering AI and Data Science Hackathon: First-ever AI hackathon in Sudan.
